Gavin Whitman is a Maryland-based photographer and filmmaker behind DrFruitbag Media, providing photography and video production across Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, and the broader Mid-Atlantic. The work includes automotive and motorsports coverage, press and event photography, fashion, portraits, lifestyle, couples, weddings, and editorial filmmaking.

Document First
The strongest photographs usually come from paying attention. Whether it's a drift car throwing smoke, a runway coming alive, a crowded event floor, or a quiet moment between people, the work starts with what is actually happening.
Direction When It Helps
Documentary doesn't mean completely hands-off. Portraits, automotive features, fashion work, and editorial projects sometimes need direction. The difference is knowing when to guide a moment and when to simply let it happen.
Cinematic, Not Trend-Driven
